Tabs is a director, theatremaker and writer specialising in opera and music theatre. Their work is multidisciplinary and alternative with a particular interest in radical queerness and deconstructing theatrical form and convention. They are passionate about improving access to theatre and opera, particularly through their work with young people.

They have directed work for Opera Untouched, Birmingham Opera Company,  Wandsworth Arts Fringe, Tête-à-Tête Contemporary Opera Festival and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and have worked as an assistant director for companies including Blackheath Halls Opera, Charles Court Opera, Welsh National Opera and the National Opera Studio.

They also regularly perform as a cabaret artist and drag king, sing with the London Philharmonic Choir, and lead opera and drama workshops for young people. They are currently developing their play, Flower Face, with Pushback Theatre and London Performance Studios.
